Darlene Bailey was the Secretary of the Board of
Directors from the beginning until her passing in
October 2011.
Darlene brought a wealth of experience of working,
helping, and teaching children and teenagers,
knowledge, leading, and a genuine heart to reach out
to teenagers and help.
She was married to her husband Richard for 36
years. They have two wonderful children, one
son-in-law, two granddaughters, and one nephew
and niece-in-law. She was an only child who was
born and raised in Dover; part of York County,
Darlene retired as a Teacher's Aide from LIU #12,
helping mentally and physically challenged students
for over 21 years.
"I have a strong interest in the youth of York and I
would like to help them any way I can."
She was loved and will missed deeply!
