Reverend Carrie Bailey is the Executive Director.
She had a vision back in 2000 to open a teen center.
She went off to four years of college to gain more
knowledge about non profits, ministry, and youth culture.
She returned to York County with knowledge and
experiences to open that teen center. She received her
Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministry from Valley Forge
Christian College. In the Fall of 2011, she will be starting
her Master's work in Marriage and Family Therapy from
Liberty University. Before going off to college, she was in
the Hospitality/Hotel field doing accounting and front
office management.
Her ministry background is filled with teaching to all ages,
helping in and planning outreaches, preaching, and
leadership opportunities. She is a licensed minister.
"Where do I begin? I am so excited about what God has
planned for this non profit ministry. I can't wait to see
how the vision unfolds, " she said, when asked about her
role with The Broken Wall. "People too often push
teenagers away and don't put any faith in them - because
of their age. Teenagers are blessings to our communities
and need to be treated as so."
