DOWNTIME/HANGOUT
Description
This program provides an opportunity for teenagers to hang out in a safe environment and not in
other bad influential environments.
Everyday after school school teenagers will be able to come to The Broken Wall, inc and play
games, hang out, listen to music, meet new friends, and not have to spend the next few hours by
themselves either at home or somewhere else.
This program will sometimes act as an introduction to The Broken Wall's many other programs.
Objective
Goal 1. To give teenagers an opportunity to just come and hang out.
Goal 2. To stop them from hanging out in the streets or in other bad influential environments.
Goal 3. From this program, our other programs will be introduced to the teenagers.
Goal 4. To ensure each student knows they are loved and cared for.
Meeting Goal 1. By offering hours that are after school times and on Saturdays and by being
in a location that the majority of students can walk to.
Meeting Goal 2. By keeping our doors open when we say we are open. By creating an
environment that is the overall purpose of The Broken Wall, inc – to make
sure that no teenager is put down, overlooked, or condemned. The Broken
Wall, inc will be a place where it does not matter your past.
Meeting Goal 3. While the teenagers are in the center they will see the other programs being
offered. Another way we will meet this goal is by telling each person about
the programs.
Meeting Goal 4. The overall belief and purpose of The Broken Wall, inc is to share and teach
them about unconditional love with each person who walks through the door.
