LOCAL BUSINESS DAYS
Description
Local Business Days offer teenagers a chance to learn, discover, and develop skills and
abilities that will help them in leadership and industry.
Local business persons and professionals will teach and train the teens new skills and "how
to do" their trade. Business persons will also be able to just invest time with the teenagers so
they can learn and grow by example. We will aim to have a minimum of two Local Business
Days that are planned in advance per month.
Objective
Goal 1. To allow local professionals to come and teach their trade or just volunteer time with
the teenagers.
Goal 2. To make the teenager aware of their options and teach them new skills.
Goal 3. To teach leadership skills to the teenagers.
Goal 4. To ensure each person they are loved and cared for.
Meeting Goal 1. Open and sustain communication lines with local professionals. Then invite
them to come.
Meeting Goal 2. By offering a range of professions and disciplines for them to take part in.
Meeting Goal 3. By the teenagers learning a trade or discipline, they learn leadership skills.
There will be times where this program will be dedicated to just teaching
leadership skills.
Meeting Goal 4. The overall belief and purpose of The Broken Wall, inc is to share and teach
them about unconditional love with each person who walks through the door.
